Gypsy Village

Constructed in 1936, Gypsy Village was an outdoor dance garden.  At night you could see the bright lights from Gypsy Village from all over the park.  In later years, the Theatre was converted into an indoor dance garden for an addition to Gypsy Village.  Inside, many local and national bands, musicians, and other acts took the stage.  The building was later used only for storage.  Gypsy Village remained open for a short period of time after the park's close in 1969.
